Jameson Drake is the stuff wet dreams are made of, or at least that’s the consensus around town. Whilst Willa is all too aware of his hotness, she has so far been successful at avoiding him at every turn. The last thing she needs is to fall for a man who thinks he is god’s gift to women.
Yet the more Willa is around Jameson, the more she starts to feel herself drawn to him. She likes talking to him even though he mostly communicates in grunts. He helps her out whenever he can, never asking for anything in return. Suddenly she doesn’t mind his larger-than-life presence or looking at his too-good-to-be-true rear end.
To her utter mortification and horror, she starts to develop feelings for the notorious heartbreaker. Some might even call it love. Continue reading

When Lydia was a teenager, she made a decision that ruined her family’s life. They’ve spent the last thirty years living with the consequences and doing their best to pretend it never happened. Lydia’s husband, the gorgeous and reliable Mark, and her two teenage children know nothing about that summer back in 1982. And that’s the way Lydia wants it to stay. The opportunity to come clean is long gone and now it’s not the lie that matters, it’s the betrayal of hiding the truth for so long.
When someone from the past turns up as a parent at the school gates, Lydia feels the life she has worked so hard to build slipping through her fingers. The more desperate she becomes to safeguard her family, the more erratic her behaviour becomes. From the author of THE ISLAND ESCAPE comes a powerful and heartbreaking story, perfect for fans of Liane Moriarty and Diane Chamberlain.
When Detective Erika Foster receives a tip-off that key evidence for a major narcotics case was stashed in a disused quarry on the outskirts of London, she orders for it to be searched. From the thick sludge the drugs are recovered, but so is the skeleton of a young child.
The remains are quickly identified as seven-year-old Jessica Collins. The missing girl who made headline news twenty-six years ago.
Is the suspect someone close to home? Someone is keeping secrets. Someone who doesn’t want this case solved. And they’ll do anything to stop Erika from finding the truth.
I am an unapologetic raving fan of Robert Bryndza — after reading books 1 & 2 of the Detective Erika Foster Thriller series, I had to dive into Dark Water immediately. I fed my kids fish fingers for 36 hours and I’m not even ashamed of that. Continue reading
Malcolm Wilson learns that everything is always temporary. Growing up, he’s raised by a promiscuous mother who can’t stay out of trouble, his best friend is a thirteen-year-old alcoholic, and the masters at his tough Scottish school are always raising their canes in his direction. Everything changes the day he meets the beautiful, alluring, green-eyed Heather, and when he learns of Heather’s own abusive childhood and the horrific secret she’s been carrying, Malcolm decides to help her. And, this time he’s not backing down, whatever the cost.
The first book of the “My Temporary Life” Trilogy tells a story of love, friendship, and what it truly means to be a hero. A top-ten overall Amazon bestseller, this grand, sweeping story has been enjoyed by readers all over the world.
There should be a genre for books called, “life-changing read”. This novel would fit.
I absolutely loved My Temporary Life by Martin Crosbie — the second half of it. In all honesty, the first half was a little hard to get into. But please do persevere because by the time Malcolm and Heather go camping this is game-on, can’t-put-down suspense that leaves you breathlessly transformed as a person. Continue reading
Her eyes are wide open. Her lips parted as if to speak. Her dead body frozen in the ice…She is not the only one.
When a young boy discovers the body of a woman beneath a thick sheet of ice in a South London park, Detective Erika Foster is called in to lead the murder investigation.
The victim, a beautiful young socialite, appeared to have the perfect life. Yet when Erika begins to dig deeper, she starts to connect the dots between the murder and the killings of three prostitutes, all found strangled, hands bound and dumped in water around London.
What dark secrets is the girl in the ice hiding?
I kept seeing flashes of The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza — it was sneaking up on me in my peripheral vision. I noticed it had sold a million copies but initially I resisted buying & reading it because every thriller seems to be “THE GIRL….” these days.
Boy, did I wait too long to discover DCI Erika Foster and this series. This is a mesmerising read. Eye-poppingly good.
BE MY LOVE is the first book in the fun and romantic “Walker Island” contemporary romance series! Lucy Kevin is the “sweet” pen-name of New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Bella Andre (who writes the #1 bestselling series about The Sullivans). Lucy Kevin books are fun, flirty and romantic―without the steamy scenes.

One day, Bella Andre followed me on Twitter.
I’d heard of her as a mega-successful indie author of romance, but had never looked at her work. However when she’d followed me what did I do? Followed her back, and bought her permafree 1st book in the Walker series all within 60 seconds. Bam. That is genius book marketing.
